RecordTV.com is simply an Internet-based DVR (Digital Video Recorder) or VCR. The functionality is identical to a DVR or VCR, except that the storage is on a remote server. RecordTV has consulted with the Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) and Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA) and accordingly obtained all neccesary licenses from the Government of Singapore.

Right now, you can only record Channel 5, Channel 8 and ChannelNewsAsia in Singapore. For Singapore users, we will roll out the ability to record other free to air, broadcast TV channels in Singapore soon.

You do not require to install any hardware and software to use RecordTV and that's the beauty of RecordTV. If you have ever tried to get a TV tuner card working or program a VCR, PVR or DVR then you know how beneficial "One-Click Recording" is.

You would need Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Media Player software, that is generally included with Microsoft Windows. The RecordTV website has not been tested with other versions of Microsoft Window....

Hum... sad to say, dear Mac Lovers are not able to enjoy the benefits of RecordTV yet, as they have not really developed a way for Mac users.... Mac users, hang on for a while more for the good news... (hopefully).

Ta Da!!

Today marks the day of the birth of my blog. And hell yes, many people are alr blogging tonnes and tonnes of pages away, and here I am, 23rd July 2007, my very first post!

Welcome to pret_a_vainpot. Thanks for supporting if u are reading my post now.... I am a person who simply enjoys indulging in shopping, food, dramas and sleep. Likewise, I would also love to share my shopping experience online, and yes, blog on food! hahaha... Greedy me! And spendthrift me!

But, then again, good things are meant to be shared ya? GreedyPret today, shall blog on the nice and affordable western food in Spore, hopefully in my next post bah. Get your tissues! Get your pen and paper!

SpendThriftPret, am also trying to clear my bursting wardrobe, before mum comes after me with the steam iron! "No space to hang your clothes! How to iron your washed clothes!!~ hahaha... Thus, the following posts, will also feature some of my 2ndhand clothes for sale.... Look out!
